Les Arcs taxi
The railway line ends at Bourg-Saint-Maurice, just over 800 metres above sea level. Les Arcs starts another 800 metres higher up and is spread over four villages: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, plus Peisey-Vallandry and Villaroger at either end of the ski area.
Your driver meets you outside the station, loads the skis and suitcases, and drops you outside your chalet, hotel or apartment building. Allow about 20 minutes to Arc 1600, half an hour to Arc 1800 and a little longer to Arc 1950 and Arc 2000.
On the way home it works the same in reverse: we pick you up at a time that suits your train or flight. During your stay, we also drive between the villages, including in the evening when the free shuttle buses have stopped.
By train
This winter, the Eurostar ski train arrives at Bourg-Saint-Maurice on Saturdays from 19 December 2026 to 20 February 2027, with a change at Lille. When a whole train arrives at once, the funicular and the shuttle buses fill up fast.
Send us your arrival date and the number of passengers: your driver waits outside Bourg-Saint-Maurice station, with no queue for the funicular.
No carrying ski bags onto the funicular and then a bus: everything goes in the boot once and comes out at your door.

The first village, built in the forest in the late 1960s, where the funicular arrives. By taxi, you skip carrying your luggage to the platform.
The largest village, with its Charvet, Villards and Chantel areas. Give us the name of your residence: we know how to reach each area.
A car-free village of wood and stone. We drop you at the village entrance, as close as possible to your residence.
The highest, below the Aiguille Rouge (3,226 m). The longest and snowiest climb: a well-equipped car and an experienced driver make the difference.

Prices are per vehicle, not per person, depending on the number of passengers. The night rate applies to early morning and late evening journeys; we confirm the exact time when you book.
